Voting is one of the most powerful ways to make your voice heard, and with great power comes great responsibility. Your responsibility is to ensure you are registered to vote YES on Hamilton County Issue 3; do that, and you will be a civic super hero. Passing Issue 3 is essential for the well being of individuals with developmental disabilities in Hamilton County. The vote simply renews the existing levy, so it won’t raise taxes. It will, however, ensure high quality services continue for those who need them.
Although Ohio Valley Goodwill strives to be an integral part of the Cincinnati community, only citizens can vote. What Goodwill can do, however, is make the voting process as easy as possible. That is why we are holding voter registration drives in multiple locations this Saturday, March 22, from 1-4PM. Join us at our Tri-County, Oakley and Cheviot stores for help registering. It is essential that we work together to raise a voice for individuals with developmental disabilities by voting YES ON ISSUE 3, so please stop by if you have not registered. To find directions to the Tri-County, Oakley and Cheviot stores, use our store directory: http://www.cincinnatigoodwill.org/shop/find-a-retail-store-or-donation-site/
