PigAbilities is an empowering option for athletes of all ages and abilities who want to commit to going the distance by making healthy choices in their lives. During a typical year (pre-COVID), the PigAbilities event would take place when there are fewer crowds, increased accessibility and more parking. This year, like last year, Pig Works is offering Virtual options for the Spring and Summer with a hoped-for in-person event taking place the week of October 29th-31st in downtown Cincinnati.
As the Title Sponsor for the PigAbilities event, Ohio Valley Goodwill will host its own Virtual event on June 22nd at a local park with a medal ceremony taking place afterwards at the organization’s corporate headquarters. During the Medal Cermony, each athlete will receive a PigAbilities medal to commemorate their achievement. Goodwill is hoping that this year’s team will include 20 athletes from its Work and Training programs as well as the CARE team members.
