Luckily, there’s a third method that’s easier: donate your car to Goodwill! When you donate a car to Ohio Valley Goodwill, you’re not just getting rid of an old vehicle; you’re making a difference in your community. Here’s how it works:

Step #1: Fill out a donation form or call us to tell us a little about your vehicle. Ohio Valley Goodwill accepts donations of cars, trucks, vans, SUVs, motorcycles, motor homes, campers, riding lawn mowers, jet skis, boats, and more! If it has an engine, we’ll gladly take it off your hands!
Step #2: Is your vehicle drivable? If so, simply drive it to one of our convenient donation drop sites located in and around Greater Cincinnati. We’re proud to partner with Superior Automotive Group, Mike Albert Direct, to provide automotive-only designated drop sites in six city-wide locations.
However, if your car doesn’t run, don’t worry! Ohio Valley Goodwill can arrange to have your vehicle towed free of charge! We’re all about making the car donation process as fast and easy as possible for you.
Step #3: To donate your vehicle, you’ll need to provide a signed, clean title, the keys to the vehicle, and sign a donation receipt. That’s it ““ Goodwill will handle the rest!
Step #4: Next, your vehicle will be auctioned at our public auto auction, held every Saturday at Ohio Valley Goodwill. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go towards supporting Goodwill’s mission to provide programs and services for individuals with disabilities and veterans. When you donate your vehicle to Goodwill, you can be confident that it will be put to good use helping others in your community!
Step #5: Once your vehicle is sold, you’ll be sent all the documentation you need for tax purposes.
