This year’s Thanksgiving Luncheon is made even more memorable as the Guild is celebrating its 80th anniversary of service to Ohio Valley Goodwill this year. The volunteer group’s mission is to raise awareness of Goodwill’s programs and services and to raise funds to support its mission in the community. The Guild operates the Treasure Island boutique located in Goodwill’s Tri-County store for fund-raising purposes and also, promotes other special events throughout the year including the bi-annual Mini-Fest.
“We certainly appreciate the generous thoughtfulness of the Service Guild during the holiday season,” said George Palmer, Director of PR and Marketing. “They always help everyone to feel appreciated and cared for during this important time of the year,” added Palmer.
Each year, Ohio Valley Goodwill provides employment, skills training and personal development services for more than 3000 men and women with disabilities as well as our nation’s veterans in the Greater Cincinnati area. Goodwill takes great pride in the personal success of these men and women. Please join Goodwill in supporting our neighbors this holiday season by making a donation at your local Goodwill Attended Donation Center. Happy Thanksgiving Wishes to all!
