At Ohio Valley Goodwill, talented team members are just part of our everyday story but this year, their musical abilities will be on full display. Public Information Officer, Michael Flannery, Eastside Supervisor, Paula Smith and Volunteer, Mark Macomber are forming a new trio that will be featured as part of the 2014 Clermont County Board of DD’s ” Clermont’s Got Talent” show taking place on Saturday, April 12th.
Being held at the Oasis Conference Center from 6-10 pm, the 1st-time ” Clermont’s Got Talent” show will benefit Clermont DD Empowers Me and the Respite Cooperative. Tickets are $50 each and information can be obtained by calling (513) 732-502 or by visiting www.empowersmeboard.org.
Ohio Valley Goodwill and its talented musical team are excited about the upcoming competition and are busily rehearsing in preparation for the big event. “We’re looking forward to the Talent show and doing what we can to support the Clermont County Board of DD and the individuals we mutually serve,” said Michael Flannery, Public Information Officer.
Goodwill’s Eastside Vocational Services Center is celebrating four years in the Clermont County community of Batavia and serves more than 25 individuals through its partnerships with both the Clermont and Hamilton County Boards of DD. This year is especially important for the Hamilton County Board of DD because its Levy is on the ballot on May 6th. “Our band name, the 3D Trio, is one way we’re trying to get the word out to vote for issue 3 on May 6th,” said Paula Smith, Eastside Supervisor.
