2014 CityBeat Magazine “Best of Cincinnati” Award!

Ohio Valley Goodwill’s Retail Sales Manager, Ann Walters, was thrilled to have CityBeat Magazine’s Nick Moscato, present her with the official 2014 “Best of Cincinnati” Award on Monday, April 7th.     For the fifth time in recent years, the Greater Cincinnati community voted for Ohio Valley Goodwill as the Best in the category of Vintage Thrift Store. The CityBeat “Best of Cincinnati” celebration event took place on March 26th and the Goodwill team was excited to be part of the festivities but the actual award is delivered to the winning organizations following the party. This year’s award will proudly be displayed in the organization’s network of retail stores in the Greater Cincinnati community. “We are so grateful to our loyal shoppers and donors for their support of our Goodwill stores and for naming us as the “Best of Cincinnati” once again in 2014, ” said Ann Walters, Retail Sales Manager.

The official 2014 CityBeat Award will be personally presented by Walters to each of the Goodwill store managers during departmental meetings being held this week. The CityBeat awards are a reflection of the both the readership as well as the editorial staff teams in the selection of the winners in all of the categories which include everything from restaurants to movie theatres and boutiques. Goodwill’s network of stores welcome more than 1,000,000 shoppers a year and the organization is grateful for the donations from the Greater Cincinnati community that make its operations possible. Proceeds earned from the sale of the donated items are used to support  Goodwill’s mission of putting people with disabilities and our nation’s veterans to work.
