Ohio Valley Goodwill Proud to Announce Official Donation Sponsor for ShareFest Donation Drive!
The Spring season also marks the arrival of the 2023 ShareFest Donation Drive in partnership with the city of Oxford and Miami University. Being held Thursday, May 11th through Tuesday, May 16th, Ohio Valley Goodwill is pleased to once again be the major Donation sponsor of the annual ShareFest Donation Drive. As always, the ShareFest Donation Drive is promising once again to be a major community event which will not only help to responsibly recycle donated items but also, to benefit local charity partners. As a major sponsor of the annual ShareFest Donation Drive, four of Goodwill’s donation trailers will be positioned at donation central at the Chestnut Fields HQ in Uptown Oxford. Like last year, off-campus pick-ups will not be available and students will have to drop off donations at Chestnut Fields.
ShareFest Mission
The mission of ShareFest is as a service and environmental nonprofit corporation dedicated to the collection and redistribution of items donated by Miami University students and the Oxford community at the end of the academic year. Collected items are shared with local human service organizations and recycled responsibly as appropriate.
Goodwill’s Endorsement
” As a business partner in the Oxford community, Ohio Valley Goodwill is pleased to once again be a sponsor and supporter of the ShareFest donation event,” said Jeff Eastham, Vice President of Operations. The organization’s Oxford Goodwill store is located at 203 South Locust Street (close to the Oxford library) and offers a selection of fashion items, books and collectibles. The Goodwill store is a popular shopping location for Oxford residents as well as Miami University students. The Oxford store also features a drive-thru donation center for the convenience of local donors.
