Ohio Valley Goodwill Prepping for 2022 Summer Youth Services

Ohio Valley Goodwill is busily working on the planning for the launch of its 2022 Summer Youth Services which will be offered during two 4 week sessions and will offer 20 hours a week of paid work experience in the community.

Sessions Include:

Work Experience Session 1: Begins June 6th thru June 30th, Monday-Thursday, 9:30 am – 3 pm.

Work Experience Session 2: Begins July 11th thru August 4th, Monday-Thursday, 9:30 am – 3 pm.

Work experiences will take place in cooperation with local employers and will offer an interactive, paid work experience in a competitive employment setting.

Goodwill’s Summer Youth Services is:

• Designed to provide a paid work experience that teaches all participants job skills, soft skills and safety awareness in a work setting.
• Transportation and on-site job coaching support is provided by Ohio Valley Goodwill Community Services team members.
• Goodwill is partnering with several businesses throughout the community to offer a variety of work opportunities such as Retail, Food service, Warehouse, Amusement Center and more!

Transition Youth Services such as the summer youth work experience are offered through a collaborative partnership with Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities and students must be at least 14 years of age and be eligible for services through OOD.
