The annual celebration of “National Goodwill Week” during the first week in May will culminate in Ohio Valley Goodwill’s hosting of its first-ever “Goodwill Spring Clean-Out Day” on Saturday, May 7th in partnership with presenting sponsors, Clear Channel Communications and WLWT-News 5. Being held from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm at Goodwill’s Tri-County headquarters in Woodlawn, the first-ever event will feature live radio remotes, free food, a chance to win a variety of prizes as well as the opportunity for donors to enjoy a 50% off sale in all Goodwill store locations. Visitors will enjoy not only Gold Star chili dogs, Husman’s potato chips and Pepsi as well as a chance to meet radio personalities from WEBN, KISS 107, 55KRC and 700WLW throughout the event, they can also participate in Goodwill’s Spring Mini-Fest which will be taking place in the Tri-County store location. “Goodwill is very excited about the first-ever “Goodwill Spring Clean-Out Day” event,” said George Palmer, PR and Marketing Director. “Generous donations received at our easy drive-thru donation center will then be used to support Goodwill’s programs and services for people with disabilities and our nation’s veterans,” added Palmer.
