Ohio Valley Goodwill is pleased to announce the organization’s first-ever community donation drive event in partnership with Remke Markets at their Hebron Kentucky location. On Saturday, August 22nd from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm, Goodwill will have a donation trailer prominently located on the Remke Markets lot to allow generous donors from the Hebron community and neighboring locations to donate gently used items of clothing, shoes, book, household items, furniture and more at the donation center.
“Donations to Ohio Valley Goodwill support the broad range of services we provide to assist men and women with disabilities and our nation’s veterans in their vocational pursuits. The simple act of clearing clutter and donating items helps create jobs right here in the Greater Cincinnati community,” said Michael Flannery, Public Information Officer. “Please join us on August 22nd at Remke Market to help people with disabilities and our nation’s veterans to go to work in our community,” added Flannery.
For almost 100 years, Ohio Valley Goodwill has been serving the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky communities helping thousands of military veterans and their families as well as people with disabilities to receive skill training, job placement assistance as well as housing support. It is through generous community donations that this century-old mission of service is possible.
As a fixture in the Northern Kentucky community, Goodwill is looking forward to partnering with Remke Markets on this first-ever community donation drive effort on Saturday, August 22nd at their Hebron location, 1952 North Bend Road from 9 am-5 pm. Stop by and donate to support Goodwill and help put people to work in our community.
