Ohio Valley Goodwill Offers Medical Equipment Loaner Program

For more than ten years, Ohio Valley Goodwill has offered a medical equipment loaner program operated by the organization’s Health Services department under the direction of RN Abby Bradburn. Community members can contact Goodwill about needed medical equipment for a nominal $5.00 rental fee and can use the donated items for as long as they are needed. Generous community support provides the Goodwill Loaner program with a diverse array of medical equipment including wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, canes and other adaptive equipment.

“It’s our pleasure to be able to provide needed medical equipment to members of the Greater Cincinnati community, “said Abby Bradburn, RN. “As representatives of an organization that serves thousands of people with disabilities and as health service professionals, the Medical Equipment Loaner program reflects part of our mission of service.” Each year, Ohio Valley Goodwill serves more than 3,100 individuals with disabilities and our nation’s veterans. As one of the largest employment and training centers in Southwest Ohio for almost 100 years, Goodwill is well aware of the needs of the Greater Cincinnati community and is pleased to offer the Loaner program.
