Ohio Valley Goodwill representatives enjoyed a lunchtime meeting with employees of Proctor & Gamble on Wednesday, October 15th and the opportunity to share information about the organization’s employment programs and services.
Aimee Rittner, Asst. Director of Employment Services, Matt Burnheimer, Supervisor and Sharon Hannon, Marketing Specialist met with the P&G team to offer an overview of the history of the Goodwill organization as well as insight into helping family members to obtain community employment.
Approximately 25 members of the P&G organization participated in the lunch and learn session which took place both at their downtown headquarters as well as satellite locations via conference call. Participants were interested to learn about the “Employment First” initiative and how Goodwill’s programs and services can help people to find community employment.
The hour long presentation was followed by an informal question and answer session which allowed attendees to speak directly with the Goodwill team members. At the end of the meeting, a cordial invitation was extended to the group to come to Goodwill for a comprehensive tour and the opportunity to see the organization’s services in action.

Our thanks to the P&G team for their kind invitation and the chance to share information about how Goodwill can help people with disabilities to obtain employment in the Greater Cincinnati community.
