Cincinnati, OH · · June 4, 2019 · · Ohio Valley Goodwill is pleased to announce that the organization has just completed its 2019 accreditation survey review with a very positive outcome. For the sixth consecutive time, Ohio Valley Goodwill attained a perfect survey outcome with no recommendations for improvement. This most recent survey outcome places Ohio Valley Goodwill in a category of distinction that is unparalleled in accreditation standards. Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), Goodwill had previously received five perfect Three Year Accreditation surveys, resulting in zero recommendations; placing it in the top 3% of similar organizations nationally. The 2019 survey took place from April 24th through April 26th and was a review of Goodwill’s comprehensive employment and training services as well as its Community Integration programs.
CARF is an independent, nonprofit accrediting body whose mission is to promote the quality, value and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process that centers on enhancing the lives of persons served. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable, and accountable.
