Ohio Valley Goodwill Hosting 1st-ever Virtual Job Fair Event!

Ohio Valley Goodwill is excited to announce its first-ever Virtual Job Fair events. Taking place on Tuesday, May 4^th from 10 am until 1 pm via ZOOM by scheduled appointment, the organization is looking forward to talking with interested applicants through this virtual format. Positions currently open include Retail, Donations, Truck Drivers and Direct Support opportunities. In an effort to make the Job Fair opportunities fully accessible to all, there will be a second in-person event held on Thursday, May 6^th from 10 am until 1 pm at the organization’s 10600 Springfield Pike headquarters in the village of Woodlawn. Again, interested applicants must schedule an appointment with Ana Mendoza at amendoza@cincigoodwill.org ahead of time to reserve a spot.   Masks are required and temperature checks will be taken on-site with all appropriate social distancing rules being followed.

Both the 1^st-ever Virtual Job Fair on May 4^th as well as the in person event on May 6^th      will serve to kick off the official annual celebration of ” National Goodwill Week.” Held during the first full week in May, National Goodwill Week is an opportunity for the organization to focus on and celebrate its 105 year mission of service in the Greater Cincinnati community. For more than a century, Ohio Valley Goodwill has been helping people with disabilities and our nation’s veterans to get jobs in the community. 90% of the funding needed to support this mission of service is provided through retail sales through its network of 19 Goodwill stores.

Responsible recycling and Sustainability are also themes for this year’s celebration of ” National Goodwill Week”  and Ohio Valley Goodwill is grateful to the Greater Cincinnati community for their generous donations which not only support sales but also, allows the organization to help recycle and divert more than 50,000,000 pounds of donated items from area landfills. We appreciate your commitment to sustainability as we all work together to preserve our planet.
