Ohio Valley Goodwill team members, James Magee and Sharon Hannon, were delighted to be on hand to accept a recognition award from partner agency, the Warren County Board of Developmental Disabilities, on Friday, October 19th. The award was presented in acknowledgement of the fashion sponsorship provided by Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries for the Holiday Fashion Show presented by the Warren County Board of Developmental Disabilities last December. The first-ever fashion show featured carefully selected fashion items from Goodwill with hair and make-up provided by Paul Mitchell Schools. Seventeen models who are served by the Board through their programs and services were the featured stars of the Fashion Show event. As the Fashion Sponsor for the show, Ohio Valley Goodwill’s donation team had worked hard for months selecting fashions for each model who would showcase attire that would be appropriate for holiday events. Designer styles from Calvin Klein and Jessica Howard were included in the collection along with items from Justice and other popular labels.
The recognition award was a wonderful surprise from the Warren County Board of DD who has partnered with Ohio Valley Goodwill for a number of years on programs and services for individuals served in the Warren County community. “We very much appreciate this recognition on behalf of Ohio Valley Goodwill and our Donations team,” said James Magee. Ohio Valley Goodwill is grateful for this wonderful award and congratulates the Board once again on the empowering event.
