The evening of June 14th marked the occasion of the 2022 Community Recognition Celebration presented by long-time Goodwill partner, Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities (Butler DD). Held at the Butler County Fairgrounds, the Goodwill team along with several hundred other guests, were treated to an evening filled with inspiring remarks from Keynote Speaker, Jamie Druhan Green, as well as those of Superintendent Lisa Guliano. All of the award recipients were featured in videos where they shared their own personal stories of inclusion.

As part of this year’s Community Recognition event, five Goodwill team members were singled out for the 2022 Community Impact award: Lisa Schneider, Asst. Director of DD Services; Lois Kramer, CARE Program Supervisor, Summer McGriff, Pre-Vocational Program Supervisor, Mark Leugers, Employment Services Manager and Sharon Hannon, Marketing Director. All of these team members displayed extraordinary efforts in supporting individuals to become fully included in the larger community through employment opportunities, social engagement as well as through the PigAbilities event as part of the 2022 Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon.
Our most sincere congratulations to these outstanding team members and thank you for your efforts to support and promote the full inclusion of individuals with disabilities into the community.
