Ohio Valley Goodwill Marketing Specialist Sharon Hannon, was pleased to represent the organization as a guest of Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services (HCDDS) at the 2015 Difference Makers Celebration. Held at the Cincinnati Museum Center on Saturday, February 7th, the event was held to recognize the inspiring work of community members and celebrate the strides taken to better the lives of children in the Greater Cincinnati region.
Hamilton County DD Services along with Goodwill were there to celebrate the volunteerism of Levy advocate and spokesperson, Logan Brinson. Logan not only gave extraordinary amounts of his time to promoting the successful 2014 HCDDS Levy campaign through his advocacy efforts but also is a long time volunteer for Children’s Hospital. Logan was also the star of a television commercial in support of the HCDDS Levy produced and directed by Michael Flannery, Goodwill Public Information Officer. “Ohio Valley Goodwill is so happy to be part of the Difference Makers event in honor of Logan but also, pleased by the recognition of the many other honorees during the celebration,” said Sharon Hannon, Marketing Specialist.
A total of 18 finalists in six different categories were recognized for making theGreater Cincinnati area a better place for children to grow, learn, play and thrive. This year’s Difference Makers event included a Celebration Ceremony followed by dinner in the Grand Rotunda with all of the excited honorees.
Ohio Valley Goodwill is grateful to HCDDS for their kind invitation and applauds Logan and the other nominees on their hard work in support of children in the greater Cincinnati area.
