Ohio Valley Goodwill has been helping students, teachers and families with planning for transition for many years and has a host of programs and services that are popular with graduating seniors. Among its many offerings, Goodwill can provide Work Evaluation services which allows a student to find out more about their skills and abilities as well as possible suggestions for future vocational direction; Skill Training in Food Services, Janitorial as well as Computer Technology; Job Placement and Coaching support to help individuals to find jobs; as well as programs designed to provide initial work skill training as well as more social and recreational options. Goodwill’s various programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and have received more than 50 local, regional and national awards for the quality of its services as well as staff team. The Fall season marks the beginning of Goodwill’s involvement and on-going support of many community events directed towards reaching out to young adults, families and interested professionals regarding the diverse options that the organization can provide to help individuals experience personal success.
