"Ohio Valley Goodwill Exhibitor for Fall Community Outreach Events!"

Ohio Valley Goodwill was delighted to be an exhibitor for two different community outreach events on Saturday, September 24th. The 2011 Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services (HCDDS) Provider Fair took place at Purcell Marion High School and the 2011 Autism Expo was held at the Live Oaks campus in Milford. The two events provide the organization with a wonderful opportunity to talk with families, professionals and individuals about the diverse services that Goodwill can offer including transition planning, skill development, job placement, job coaching and even personal development programs.

Asst. Director of DD Services, Leslie McCurley had the chance to talk with interested attendees at the HCDDS Provider Fair regarding Ohio Valley Goodwill’s many options available to individuals with disabilities. “It was very well attended this year and I was  really glad that we were able to support this important community outreach event,” said McCurley.

In addition, Marketing Specialist, Sharon Hannon, talked with several hundred inquisitive guests at the 2011 Autism Expo, all of whom were seeking services for their family member. “Ohio Valley Goodwill is always thrilled to have the chance to participate in the Fall community outreach events geared towards getting  program information out to the people that really need it,” said Hannon.
