Ohio Valley Goodwill Exhibitor for 513 Relief Bus Event!

Ohio Valley Goodwill was delighted to be included as an exhibitor as part of the first time 513 Relief Bus Community Resource Fair sponsored by Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services. Held on March 27th, the Resource Fair included more than 25 nonprofit community agencies, an accessible Metro Bus, the 513 Relief Bus, a DJ, a Grill Out as well as a special proclamation from the Hamilton County Commissioners in recognition of National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. Representing the Hamilton County Commissioners were President Alicia Reece and Vice President Denise Driehaus who were both on hand to present the proclamation and spend time with the event participants and coordinators. Both made remarks about the importance of the acceptance and inclusion of people with disabilities in Hamilton County.

As an exhibitor, Goodwill Marketing Director Sharon Hannon, was on hand to provide information about the organization’s award-winning employment and training services as well as personal enrichment program offered through the Center for Advocacy, Recreation and Education. “We were so pleased to be part of this wonderful Community Resource Fair in partnership with Hamilton County DD Services,” said Hannon. “The event is a true reflection of how effective community outreach can be,” added Hannon.

Our sincere thanks to Hamilton County DD Services for their invitation to participate in the 513 Relief Bus event. We look forward to our ongoing collaborative partnership in serving the citizens of Hamilton County. To find out more about Goodwill’s services, please visit www.cincinnatigoodwill.org/services.
