Saturday, October 5th marked the date of the 2013 Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services Provider Fair and Ohio Valley Goodwill was pleased to be an exhibitor at this year’s event. The new UCP campus in Norwood was the host location for the 2013 Fair which is an opportunity for interested parents, individuals and families to find out about programs and services offered by different agencies in Hamilton County. More than 40 different provider agencies filled the UCP space to overflowing capacity and shared their information with the event attendees. Ohio Valley Goodwill has been an exhibitor and supporter of the HCDDS Provider Fair events for years and was happy to be part of the 2013 Fair. “It’s always nice to have the opportunity to provide information to interested families about the many services that Goodwill can offer,” said Sharon Hannon, Marketing Specialist. The 2013 HCDDS Provider Fair is of particular importance because it marks the unofficial beginning of the Board’s outreach and education efforts in support of its 2014 Levy campaign. Ohio Valley Goodwill has worked in partnership with Hamilton County DD Services since 1984 and currently serves more than 500 individuals through its many training, personal development and job placement services.
