Ohio Valley Goodwill is pleased to announce staff promotions in its IT department, Retail division and Accounting division. The following individuals have earned promotions in their respective departments/divisions:
We are pleased to announce the promotion of Eric Payne to IT Systems Manager. Eric started his career with Ohio Valley Goodwill January 17, 2007 as a part-time store employee at our Fairfield store. On February 10, 2009 Eric was promoted to lead clerk at Fairfield, then to senior lead clerk on November 3, 2013. Eric transferred to the IT department as an IT support assistant on December 21, 2015. Eric most recently was an IT support analyst. During his time in IT Eric has overseen two register rollouts for our nineteen retail locations. He has upgraded our servers to virtual machines and been an integral part of installing our new firewall, new virus protection and new wireless access points throughout the main building. Most recently, Eric oversaw the quoting and installation of new cameras throughout the entire Woodlawn campus. Eric and his team will be working on phishing, a virtual private network, multi factor authentication, and endpoint detection and response software.
Congratulations Eric, we’re so fortunate to have you on our team!
In addition, in our Retail division, Alleen Adomako and Nathan Stanton have been promoted to Manager roles for both the Tri-County store and Bellevue store respectively. Alleen has been the Manager of the Oakley store for many years and has also been the lead team member for the annual Pop-Up Shops for the Queen Bee and Flying Pig Health and Fitness Expo events. Alleen has also been the lead historically for the Thanksgiving Day Race Donation Drives. Alleen has been with Goodwill for ten years, starting as a part-time cashier, and has worked her way up to Oakley Store Manager for the past eight years. In that time, Alleen has created a healthy working environment for her staff through dedication and hands-on training to become one of the top-performing stores. Alleen will now bring her talents to our Woodlawn location to help maintain and grow our largest store.
While Nathan is newer to the Goodwill team, he has worked hard to improve the sales and store production goals at the various retail sites he has worked. Nathan was hired in November 2022 as an Assistant Manager for retail and has had several years of experience before Goodwill. Since arriving at Bellevue in December, Nathan has been in training and preparing for this role and is ready to take the next step. Nathan has progressively worked and trained through many stores here at Goodwill, and with hard work and dedication, Nathan has proven himself to have earned the opportunity to be our next Bellevue Manager.
Finally, Goodwill team member, Mike Raulston has been promoted to Process Improvement Manager. Mike joined the Goodwill team in 2022 as a Work Evaluation and Training Specialist and offers a vast array of technical expertise which will aid in guiding Ohio Valley Goodwill in its organizational journey into the future. Mike notes that he is extremely motivated by Goodwill’s mission of helping people with disabilities and our nation’s veterans to succeed and thrive in the Greater Cincinnati community.
Ohio Valley Goodwill congratulates all of these team members on their promotions and looks forward to their contributions to the Goodwill mission of service.
