Joe Byrum, President/CEO OVGI with Superintendent Cheryl Phipps, HCMR/DD ” Wednesday, October 21st marked the date of the County-wide Open House event held in support of Hamilton County MR/DD and its upcoming tax levy. Ohio Valley Goodwill was one of the many partner agencies affiliated with HCMR/DD that welcomed interested community members to visit its corporate headquarters in the village of Woodlawn. More than 25 individuals were in attendance for the afternoon presentation by special guest, Cheryl Phipps, Superintendent of HCMR/DD, regarding the upcoming levy. Goodwill was also delighted to welcome Channel 9 news to cover the Open House event and talk directly with Ms. Phipps regarding the critical importance of the upcoming levy. ” We are so grateful to the residents of Hamilton County for their on-going support of Hamilton County MR/DD and the more than 8000 families we serve currently,” said Cheryl Phipps, Superintendent.

Ohio Valley Goodwill serves almost 500 individuals with developmental disabilities through its partnership with Hamilton County MR/DD and was thrilled to have the opportunity to co-host the county-wide Open House event.
