Cincinnati, OH · · August 28, 2015 · · The evening of August 27th was a memorable one for Ohio Valley Goodwill and its board of directors and management team as the organization’s President and CEO, Joe Byrum, was singled out for recognition by the Business Courier during its 2015 C-Suite awards. The inaugural C-Suite Awards were created to honor top executives whose leadership and skills have helped shape their companies. The awards recognize CEO, CFO, COO, CMO and General Counsel leaders in the Greater Cincinnati community.
The prestigious Business Courier awards event was held at historic Music Hall in downtown Cincinnati and with more than 16 finalists in the CEO category, the Goodwill team was delighted when President and CEO Joe Byrum, was announced as the winner in the Non-Profit category.
During his acceptance speech, Byrum noted that ” Ohio Valley Goodwill has been providing services to people with disabilities and our veterans for 99 years in the greater Cincinnati community and is now on the verge of celebrating our 100th year. It is our mission of service that inspires us. Thanks to the Business Courier for the humbling recognition as well as to everyone in greater Cincinnati for their support of Goodwill.”
Joseph Byrum has been President and CEO of Ohio Valley Goodwill for the past 35 years and has consistently been recognized for his leadership in helping the organization to become an award-winning employment and training center serving thousands of people with disabilities and our nation’s veterans each year.
