In its annual tradition, Ohio Valley Goodwill kicked off the holiday season in celebration style with a holiday luncheon for all its program participants and staff team members on Wednesday, December 16th.
More than 800 individuals participated in this year’s holiday luncheon event which is always highlighted by the singing and dancing of attendees as they joyfully chime in on their favorite Christmas carols. Held in the organization’s headquarters cafeteria, the luncheon is prepared by Goodwill’s Food Services training team which pulls out all the stops to make sure that the meal is enjoyed by everyone in attendance. ” We really enjoy working together on this annual holiday event,” said Kelly Manns, Assistant Director of Training Services. ” It’s always wonderful to see everyone smiling and enjoying themselves during the luncheon event.”
Ohio Valley Goodwill looks forward to the festive holiday event every year and is grateful to the organization’s volunteer Service Guild for their support and generous sponsorship. Today’s holiday luncheon is just the beginning of the celebratory events scheduled for the evening of December 16th as well as serving as the prelude for the official kick-off for the organization’s celebration of its 100th anniversary of service in 2016! In the evening Ohio Valley Goodwill will once again proudly support the annual Homeless Awareness Dinner event in partnership with the Sharonville Convention Center. Stay tuned for 100th anniversary celebration updates coming in the New Year!
