Ohio Valley Goodwill announces the retirement of Board of Directors member Mr. Jonathan D. McCann. Mr. McCann has served as the Board’s Treasurer for the past four years and before that served eleven years as a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. McCann has fully dedicated himself to the overall mission of the organization. During his tenure as a member of the Board of Directors, the organization was able to help more than 10,000 people with disabilities and our nation’s veterans to get jobs in the Greater Cincinnati community. In addition to his valuable service to Goodwill, Mr. McCann is a retired Director of Wealth Advisory Services and Portfolio Manager at Johnson Investment Counsel, Inc. Mr. McCann joined Johnson Investment Counsel in 1987. Johnson Investment Counsel, Inc. is an employee owned investment manager. It provides retirement planning, cash management, education planning, and wealth management services to its clients.
Mr. McCann commitment to philanthropy is long-standing and is reflected in his many volunteer service roles in the Greater Cincinnati community. In addition to his service to Ohio Valley Goodwill, Mr. McCann serves on the board of Beech Acres Parenting Center, is a Vice President for Cincinnati Opera Association, and is on the board of the Warren County Foundation. He is an active member of Christ’s Church at Mason. Mr. McCann holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He received an M.B.A. in Management from the University of Cincinnati as well as a M.Div. in Theology and B.A. in Ministry from the Cincinnati Christian University.
Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries is grateful to Mr. McCann for his long service to the organization as a member of its Board of Directors and in the important role of Treasurer. Mr. McCann’s dedication and service to the Goodwill mission was formally recognized during the Board of Director’s meeting held on March 25th 2019.
