Once Goodwill receives donated cars, we prepare them for sale at our weekly public auto auction. Especially this year, many people are in need of affordable vehicles, and our reputable auto auction helps make it possible. But wait””there’s more! The proceeds raised from the Goodwill auto auction go on to support our job skills training and employment services for individuals with disabilities and veterans. So, when you donate a car to Goodwill, you’re helping people in your community access affordable vehicles and achieve the dream of meaningful employment!

When you’re ready to let go of an older vehicle, Ohio Valley Goodwill is here to help. We gladly accept donated cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, and even RVs, even if your vehicle isn’t running. Qualify for tax benefits
When you donate a car for the holidays, you’re helping others and getting rid of an old vehicle in Cincinnati. But there’s another benefit to donating at the end of the year: if you donate before December 31, you could qualify for a tax break on your itemized return, helping you save money at tax time. After you donate your car to Goodwill, we’ll provide a receipt you can use to claim your deduction. Visit irs.gov for more information.
