The weekend of May 3rd and 4th marks the annual Spring Mini-Fest presented by the organization’s Volunteer Service Guild. The twice yearly event is a fund-raiser planned and coordinated by the Guild in support of Ohio Valley Goodwill and its mission of service. “We are pleased to be able to present the Spring Mini-Fest every year with the help of our wonderful volunteers,” said Sue Burreson, Guild President.
The Spring Mini-Fest offers homemade baked goods and candy, elegant “junque” and rummage items, jewelry, featured items from the Treasure Island Gift Shop, Books, Tapes and CD’s as well as a lunch-time Grill Out with the group’s “world-famous” hot dogs, chips and drink. Purchases made during the Mini-Fest are used to support the Guild’s various efforts on behalf of the individuals Goodwill serves including birthday recognition, holiday luncheons, Veteran’s Day award ceremonies and more. The organization is grateful to the Guild for their wonderful dedication and volunteerism over the past more than 80 years.
If you have a chance, please stop by the Guild’s Mini-Fest at our Tri-County store from 9 am- 3 pm on Friday and Saturday, May 3rd and 4th and support the cause!
