Updating and renovations are currently underway for Goodwill’s Oakley retail store which has been in the area for more than 20 years. The popular thrift store location is well frequented by local shoppers and customers have been curious as to the updates that are taking place while the store remains open. The list of new interior and exterior enhancements includes the installation of new awnings, a new check-out station at the front of the store, movable, lightweight display racks, and a general refresh of both the interior and exterior of the property.
“We love being in the Oakley community and are so grateful for the generous support of our shoppers and donors. The current updates are designed to enhance the shopper experience without the store having to be closed for a more major renovation,” said Dawn Corley, Vice President of Retail Services at Ohio Valley Goodwill. The improvements will continue to take place in the coming weeks and the anticipated completion of all aspects will take place just in time to start the New Year. Watch for updates coming soon.
Our most sincere thanks to our wonderful shoppers and donors and the Oakley community for their ongoing support and understanding while we work hard on getting the store updated and improved.
