Goodwill’s Employment Services Team’s Mission is Jobs!

Ohio Valley Goodwill’s Employment Services team under the direction of Supervisor Matt Burnheimer, is positioned for a busy New Year as they welcomed five new staff members to the team. The Employment Services team is completely focused on helping people to get jobs in the community and last year, helped almost 1000 individuals to reach that important goal. The new team members are: Mike Schnirring, Roy Elliott, Rich Halter, Blake Dowlin and Danny Hawkins.

The new Employment Services staff members join the experienced Goodwill team which includes: Mary Stradtman, Chelsea Combs, Dana Salter and Jeff Deaton, along with Supervisor, Jeff Miller.

“For almost 100 years, Goodwill has been about putting people to work in our community,” said Matt Burnheimer, Supervisor. “We are very focused on providing the best services we can to help people achieve their own personal goal of employment,” added Burnheimer.

Comprehensive Vocational Evaluation
Career Exploration
Community-Based Training Services (Custodial, Food Service, Retail, Computer Technology)
Job Development and Placement
Work Site Support Services
