Goodwill’s Employment Services Team Receives 2022 Employment First Award!
Ohio Valley Goodwill’s Employment Services Team Receives the 2022 APSE Award!
Goodwill Employment Services team members including Chelsea Ashcraft, Mark Leugers and Travis Smith (representing the larger Employment Services team), were honored to accept the 2022 Employment First award at the APSE Conference luncheon event held on September 29th. APSE stands for the Association of People Supporting Employment First and the Goodwill team was recognized for their outstanding efforts to help more than 125 individuals who were either laid off or their positions were eliminated during COVID to either regain their positions and/or find new opportunities in a matter of months. The team was able to provide this outstanding support while also conforming with mandated Safety and Health protocols specific to each employment situation. Goodwill congratulates the Employment Services team on this recognition and their remarkable commitment to the individuals they serve.
