The December new officer installation ceremony is always held at the end of the year so that the Guild is ready to plan its activities for the New Year starting in January 2017. The organization plans and hosts the Spring and Fall Mini-Fests as well as special bus trips throughout the year in addition to its operations of the Treasure Island shop. Guild President, Sue Burreson, along with her dedicated volunteer team work hard to support the 100 Year old mission of Goodwill- helping people with disabilities and our nation’s veterans to get jobs in the community. “This year has been a particularly remarkable year for the Service Guild in partnership with Ohio Valley Goodwill as the organization officially marked its 100th Anniversary of service in the Greater Cincinnati community,” said Sue Burreson, Guild President. Goodwill Marketing Manager, Sharon Hannon, was pleased to be asked to perform the new officer installation ceremony and presented each officer with a Goodwill gift bag.
Ohio Valley Goodwill is grateful to the Service Guild for its generous support of Ohio Valley Goodwill and its mission of service over the past 100 years and congratulates the new officer class for the New Year.
