On Thursday, January. 22, at 7:30 p.m., 9 On Your Side will air Let’s Ask Cincinnati – the third of four localized episodes of the nationally syndicated game show, Let’s Ask America. All of the contestants on Let’s Ask Cincinnati are local celebrities playing for charity and all of the survey questions are about life in the Tri-State. The four contestants compete against each other via Skype and attempt to correctly guess how most surveyed Greater Cincinnatians would answer the light-hearted questions. There’s an added digital element to invite people to play along online.
Hosting the show is Bob Goen, half of the Bob and Marianne morning team on Warm 98 (WRRM-FM). The contestants playing in the third episode of Let’s Ask Cincinnati are: Michael Flannery; Mayor, John Cranley; Cincinnati BenGal cheerleader, Mercedes; and Reds pitching great, Tom Browning.
Let’s Ask Cincinnati will break new ground for a game show, giving online users the opportunity to play along interactively in real time at WCPO.com. The online user will get the same version of the game appearing on television, but the answers to the questions will be clickable and the user can play along and see how they compete with everyone else playing the game.
” It’s great to see some of Cincinnati’s well known personalities have fun and raise money for local charities,” said Jeff Brogan, vice president and general manager of WCPO 9 On Your Side. ” The show will also be a lot of fun for people who can literally play along live and answer the unique Cincinnati questions.”
Ohio Valley Goodwill is pleased that Michael Flannery will be supporting its mission of helping people with disabilities and our nation’s veterans to get jobs in the community by his appearance on the show.
