Goodwill Kicks Off St. Patrick’s Day Celebration in the Best Way Possible for Lucky West Chester Shoppers!

Ohio Valley Goodwill’s new West Chester store was the place to be as lucky shoppers were treated to coffee, donuts and green beads as they walked in to check out the newly re-designed space on Cincinnati-Dayton Road, right after the Tylersville Road intersection. The official ribbon cutting and Grand Opening celebration kicked off at 8:45 am with special guests Mr. Mark Welch, President of the West Chester Board of Trustees and Judi Boyko from the West Chester Board, joining Goodwill team members including President and CEO, Joe Byrum, Charlie Wright, Board Chairman, Joe Walter, Board member and celebrity spokesman, as well as Goodwill’s retail team members. Mr. Welch remarked the West Chester community welcomed Ohio Valley Goodwill and was glad that such an important business was joining the business network in the area. “We think that Goodwill’s mission is inspiring and congratulate the organization on 100 years of service,” said Welch.

Following the official ribbon cutting, the store doors opened to welcome new shoppers who quickly filled their carts with everything from Easter baskets to Spring fashions. In addition to the morning refreshments, drawings were held every 30 minutes for lucky customers to win a Goodwill gift certificate. Later in the day, pizza will be served to eager shoppers as they enjoy exploring the 12,000 square foot space. With spacious dressing rooms, easy to shop wide aisles and large windows, the West Chester store offers a pleasant shopping experience for West Chester and Butler County area residents. The new store also offers a convenient drive thru donation area for area donors as they start on their Spring cleaning.

The Grand Opening event was highlighted by the participation of Goodwill’s work training program team members who helped out with greeting customers, bagging purchases and sharing Happy St. Patrick’s Day wishes.
