Goodwill Joins Family Circle Magazine for Back-to-School Clothing Drive!

Newest Family Circle Campaign Urges Readers to “˜Donate, Play & Win’   Goodwill and Family Circle will launch the fourth annual back-to-school clothing drive on August 1. The partnership will be featured in Family Circle’s September issue, which is dedicated to back-to-school activities and drops to 3.8 million subscriber doorsteps next week.

Since 2009, Family Circle readers have contributed approximately 20 million pounds of clothing donations over the past three years to local Goodwills. As a Donate Movement partner, Goodwill  joins Family Circle’s ” mommy community” ““ educating them about donating responsibly and equipping them with tools and resources to conduct donation drives at home and at school.

Donate Play & Win This year, Family Circle encourages its readers to go online to play the Donation Match Game, which provides a fun way for kids to learn that ” just as there are things you recycle, there are things you donate.” The new Facebook application, Donate, Play & Win, launches with a giveaway from Family Circle. For those who play and enter to win, they are eligible to receive one of five laptops just in time for back-to-school season. The application will go live on Goodwill’s Facebook page on August 1, and features an engaging online experience. Back-to-School with Family Circle and Lorie Marrero Donate Movement spokesperson, Lorie Marrero, joins the conversation with her organizing tips to help keep the house clutter-free during the back-to-school season.
