After an almost two year break from in-person events, the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon is coming back this fall and Goodwill is looking forward to being a featured exhibitor at the 2021 Expo. Being held October 29th and 30th at the Duke Energy Center, Ohio Valley Goodwill will be hosting it’s ever popular Pig Pop Up Shop with running and athleisure wear for all members of the family. The Halloween weekend will be filled with all kinds of events including the Queen Bee Medpace 4 Miler on Saturday, October 30th and on Sunday, October 31st, the Flying Pig Marathon and Queen Bee Half Marathon events. Team Goodwill will be not only welcoming Expo goers to the Goodwill Pop Up Shop but also, participating in the weekend running events. As a long time sponsor of the PigAbilities event as part of the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon as well as a founding sponsor of the Queen Bee event, Ohio Valley Goodwill is very much looking forward to the return of in-person celebrations.
“For the past six years, Ohio Valley Goodwill has taken great pride in its sponsorship of the PigAbilities event; which is designed to be fully accessible and welcoming to athletes of all abilities; as well as the Queen Bee which is dedicated to the empowerment of women in our community,” said Sharon Hannon, Goodwill Marketing Director. “As an organization which provides employment and training for people with disabilities and is dedicated to community inclusion, Goodwill feels closely aligned with the Flying Pig Marathon and what it represents.”
The Pig Pop Up Shop will be open during the Expo on Friday, October 29th from 12 noon until 7 pm and on Saturday, October 30th from 10 am until 6 pm. Stop by and see what kind of deals you can find on running gear this year. We promise you won’t find any better bargains than at Goodwill’s Pig Pop Up Shop!
