Goodwill Hosts Facebook Live at New Hamilton Store!

The brand new Hamilton Goodwill store was filled with excited shoppers as the doors opened this morning for eager patrons waiting outside. The new store has been much anticipated over the past few months and Goodwill was delighted to be able to open during the holiday season. To celebrate the momentous occasion, the weekly broadcast of the organization’s Facebook Live series, “Thursdays at One,” was filmed on location. Featuring Fashion Advisor, Alisha Tyler, audience members and shoppers were treated to a closer look at everything the new store has to offer as well as special holiday fashions on display at the Hamilton location.
Located at 1555 Main Street, the 12,000 square foot new store offers a wonderful shopping experience for local residents and interested visitors as well as a convenient drive thru donation center. While the new store opened at 9 am on Thursday, December 27th, the regular store hours will be 9:30 am until 9 pm Monday through Saturday and 10 am until 6 pm on Sunday and Donation Center hours will be the same. “We’re so thrilled about opening and featuring our new Hamilton store and welcoming so many enthusiastic shoppers and fans,” said Alisha Tyler. During the Facebook Live broadcast, Alisha also interviewed a number of Goodwill team members about why they love Goodwill. Greg Thorpe, Kevin McGuire and Ann Walters, Retail team members, all talked about their passion for the Goodwill mission of service to people with disabilities and our nation’s veterans.
