Hundreds of excited party-goers flocked to Covington Catholic High School for the big event which featured Q102’s Jen Fritsch and Jon Jon as emcees and great music throughout the evening. Strategically parked at the front of the busy parking lot and easily seen from Dixie Highway, the new trailer was highly visible despite passing rain storms. The Goodwill Donation Attendant on duty for the evening, Mike McGuire, enjoyed meeting with guests in between rain showers.
The highlight of the Purses 4 a Purpose event of course, is the opportunity for party-goers to get designer bags at a fraction of the typical price and to support the Foundation as well. Among the dazzling array of purses were several from Goodwill’s boutique locations and stores. “Goodwill was very pleased to be asked to join the Purses 4 a Purpose event this year and have the opportunity to host a donation drive at the same time that this wonderful event was taking place,” said Sharon Hannon, Marketing Specialist.
Goodwill will be hosting another community donation drive event in August in partnership with Remke Markets in Hebron, Kentucky and will once again feature its new donation trailer.
Our thanks to the Purses 4 a Purpose team members for their outreach efforts in support of Ohio Valley Goodwill and our mission to put people to work in the Greater Cincinnati community.
