A wellness share”¦
Every day can be about our wellbeing. New, change, different, challenge”¦These words can feel overwhelming and can have some folks experience anxiety or fatigue with the consistent and immediate need for change around us.
In this New Year, in the spirit of belonging and acknowledgement of all human experience, I’d like to encourage us all to accept our self in the space we are in right now. When we’re ready, we can make a move.
In the meantime, let’s do a couple of things that help us breathe, that encourage joy, and that allow for a release of stress.
1 ““ Look at these adorable critters as often as is helpful.
2 ““ I’ve included several low to no-cost apps/sites that have helped people manage their stress levels more effectively. Most are phone based and may be a good fit for you.
3. ““ A 10 minute walk at any point in your day for any reason is better for your body and your mind than no 10 minute walks per day. There is no speed requirement. [Reminder- PigAbilities training for the 25th anniversary celebration of the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon can start anytime! For more information, visit www.flyingpigmarathon.com/pigabilities ]
4 ““ Please let me know how we can help your work be a place of support and belonging, where your wellness is respected and encouraged.
