Nancy Woolley, Rehabilitation Services Administrative Assistant, is celebrating a milestone anniversary this month- 48 years with Ohio Valley Goodwill! Nancy started her career in 1973 and has literally watched the organization grow from a very small organization at the time to the more than $60,000,000 a year vital Employment and Training center that it is today. And Nancy’s role has been critical in that development. She has watched the agency expand its partnerships over the years to include not only its long-standing relationship with Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (formerly the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation) but also to include current partnerships with the Veterans Administration and four County Boards of Developmental Disabilities. Nancy’s responsibilities are the essential glue that keeps the Rehabilitation Division functioning- everything from billing submissions, meeting scheduling, intake support paperwork, corporate communications and more- fall into Nancy’s capable domain. Nancy has not only been one of the most reliable and dedicated employees at Goodwill but also, freely volunteers to help out whenever the need arises. ” I’ve had wonderful people to work with, bosses and all of the great programs that Goodwill offers. I’ve watched the organization change and grow over time and feel a part of that evolution,” said Nancy. ” I am very supportive of the Goodwill mission of helping people to improve the quality of their lives,” added Nancy.
Thought of fondly for her kindness, quick smile and amazing thoughtfulness- (always has a birthday card or holiday greeting ready)- for everyone in the organization as well as her devotion to Ohio Valley Goodwill and its mission of service- Nancy is truly a treasured and beloved employee. We congratulate Nancy Woolley on 48 years of outstanding service and look forward to celebrating the occasion in appropriate fashion.
