Brandon Heil Success Story
Ohio Valley Goodwill is delighted to share our December Success Story featuring Mr. Brandon Heil. We congratulate Brandon on his hard work and are grateful for his willingness to share his important story with all of us.
Brandon has been working at Dunham’s Sports for just over a year. His job responsibilities include stocking, pricing merchandise and running the cash register along with taking care of the customers. Brandon is a valued team member and enjoys his job.
When Brandon is not working, he likes going to the movies or bowling or playing video games. He is also very focused on saving money to move out on his own. He also enjoys doing fun things with his girlfriend and his friends.
Brandon was referred to Ohio Valley Goodwill’s Employment Services team for job placement assistance by Opportunities of Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) counselor, Katherine Staggs. Goodwill works in partnership with OOD to assist individuals like Brandon who are looking for jobs in their local community. Celebrating Nathan’s Work Anniversary
Goodwill Honors Developmental Disabilities Month
Please remember that when you donate and shop with Ohio Valley Goodwill, you are helping to support our employment and training programs for people like Brandon, Ian, Nathan, Sally and others. We are also very pleased to partner with our local County Boards of Developmental Disabilities (Hamilton, Butler, Clermont and Warren) as well as Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities on helping people to obtain employment and achieve personal success. Every year, Goodwill serves almost 3000 people and typically, helps almost 1000 to get jobs in the community.
