Ohio Valley Goodwill was pleased to join dignitaries from the Harrison community for the official ground-breaking for the construction of its new Harrison store which will open later this year. The current Goodwill Harrison store has been an integral part of the community for more than 30 years.
At the official ground-breaking ceremony held on Tuesday, March 3rd were the Mayor of Harrison, Joel McGuire, Jennifer Ekey, Economic Development Director, along with Goodwill Chairman of the Board Charlie Wright, Joe Byrum, Goodwill CEO, along with representatives from HGC Construction and Architect Brashear Bolton. In addition, Goodwill Assistant Director, Leslie McCurley, long-time Harrison resident, Jeff Eastham, Operations Director and Ann Walters, Sales Manager, joined the assembled dignitaries along with the Goodwill Marketing and Retail team in the exciting ceremony.
“Ohio Valley Goodwill is delighted to be building a brand new retail store in the community of Harrison,” said Joe Byrum, Goodwill President and CEO. “We very much value our history of partnership with the Harrison community and look forward to a wonderful future in the area,” added Byrum.
Harrison Mayor, Joel McGuire noted that he and the community of Harrison were very pleased about the new development and looking forward to the opening of the new Goodwill store. “Goodwill has been a long-time business partner in Harrison and we are excited that we will soon have a new store Grand Opening taking place in our community.”
