Ohio Valley Goodwill’s “Dynamic Duo” Performs at Clermont’s Got Talent!

The Goodwill team was out in force on Saturday, September 20th to root for the organization’s talented performers, Paula Smith, Eastside Supervisor  and Mark Macomber, long-time volunteer and local entrepreneur. Dubbed the “Dynamic Duo,” the pair entertained the enthusiastic audience with a medley of classic tunes including “Act Naturally,” and the iconic “Amy.” The duo were part of a talented line-up of artists who donated their time and abilities in support of “Clermont’s Got Talent;” a fund-raising event for Goodwill partner, the Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities and their family  respite program. Earning a perfect score of “30,” Smith and Macomber were pleased that their performance was so well-received. “We just wanted to do what we could to support the cause,” said Paula Smith. Employed as the supervisor of the organization’s newest Vocational Services Center in Batavia, Smith and her team welcome more than 40 adults to the program each day.

Ohio Valley Goodwill Assistant Director of DD Services, Leslie McCurley, who thoroughly enjoyed the performances, was thrilled that the “Dynamic Duo” was such a crowd favorite. “We value our partnership with Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities so much and are so happy that our team members are willing to share their talents in support of individuals that we mutually serve,” said McCurley.
