Ohio Valley Goodwill is celebrating Earth Day in a big way this year. On April 27th, we will be hosting an Electronics Recycling Celebration in partnership with our electronics recycling vendor, E-Waste Systems. The event is designed to help Tri-State residents dispose of antiquated electronics safely and easily.
Today, we are surrounded by electronic devices. They make life easier, more exciting and more entertaining, but they also come at a cost. They become outdated and sit unused. You should not just throw your old electronics away, however. Modern electronic devices contain many exotic materials. Some are valuable recyclables, others are too dangerous for conventional disposal. Getting rid of unwanted devices can quickly become an unexpected headache, but Ohio Valley Goodwill is here to help.
Bring your old electronic devices to Goodwill HQ at 10600 Springfield Pike and look for signs directing you to the Attended Donation Center. Goodwill and E-Waste team members will help you unload your donations for FREE. You will receive a sincere “thank you” for recycling responsibly in honor of Earth Day, the knowledge that you kept the planet green and the chance to contribute to Ohio Valley Goodwill’s ongoing mission to improve communities in Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana.
