Donations to Ohio Valley Goodwill can open job opportunities in Cincinnati, but they can also open up space in your life. Our #7DaysOfSpringCleaning campaign is all about helping donors in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, while their donations help local communities. A clean and open environment supports your well-being. The joy of donating will raise your spirits. Read on for today’s advice on how donating to Goodwill can revitalize your living space. Carpe donation!
Electronics are supposed to make life easier, but they can also distract us from what’s important in life. Make space for some peace and quiet this spring by donating your old electronics to Ohio Valley Goodwill. Unlike the latest “revolutionary” gadget, what we do with your donations really will change lives. Goodwill uses donations to raise funds for numerous social programs through our retail stores. It isn’t just “grown up toys” we need either. If a toy used to bring you or a loved one joy, chances are someone else would love it too. Stuffed animals, video games, sports equipment and more can change more lives than you realize. They can put a smile on someone else’s face, help employ a community member with a disability and free up space in your life. If those benefits seem attractive, you may have just caught spring (cleaning) fever.
Now that you have gathered up your unused and underused electronics, you are ready to make a real difference. Ohio Valley Goodwill, along with E-Waste, is hosting a massive Earth Day-themed electronics recycling fair on Sunday, April 27. Stop by our Springfield Pike headquarters in Woodlawn between 12PM and 6PM to make sure your donation has the maximum impact. For more details on the Earth Day recycling celebration, read the original post on our blog.
After you donate, take a picture and upload it to your favorite social network with the tag #7DaysOfSpringCleaning.
