Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries is delighted to announce that it has joined together with Benchmark Outfitters in Blue Ash, OH in support of the organization’s mission of helping people with disabilities and our nation’s veterans. From now until April 30, 2013, when you donate a gently used sweater at the Benchmark store, you will receive a $10. coupon good toward the purchase of a new item in their store. All sweaters collected will be donated to Ohio Valley Goodwill. Wool sweaters will be donated to XOB and recycled into wool hats and $1.00 will be donated to Goodwill for these sweaters! Benchmark Outfitters also has a location in Lexington, KY where collection efforts will benefit Goodwill Industries of Kentucky.
“We’re excited to enter into this collection effort that will ultimately benefit Goodwill Industries as we know that our drive supports a truly worthy purpose,” said Chris Glaser, Benchmark Outfitters Outreach Manager. Each year, Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries serves more than 3,100 men and women with disabilities, homeless veterans and others with barriers to employment.
