Ohio Valley Goodwill and its staff team were delighted to participate in the 2012 annual Southwest Ohio Rehabilitation Association (SWORA) Awards event held on Friday, November 30th at the Clovernook Country Club. The annual Awards Luncheon is held each year to recognize outstanding contributions to the field of Rehabilitation. More than 65 people attended this year’s event which celebrates performance in a number of categories including: Outstanding Achievement, Employer of the Year, Rehabilitation Practitioner, Rehabilitation Support Staff, Rehabilitation Manager, Rehabilitation Organization, Advocacy, and Rehabilitation Program of the Year. This year, Ohio Valley Goodwill was especially pleased to have its own Office Procedures and Computer Technology instructor, Jay Kehoe be recognized with the Jay Kehoe be recognized with the Rehabilitation Support Staff of the Year Award from SWORA.Several nominators noted |
| Jay’s patience, effective listening skills and the resources he provides as a creative problem solver as outstanding contributions to the field of rehabilitation. “We are especially pleased to have Jay Kehoe be recognized for the great work he does in our Office Procedures and Computer Technology program,” said Kelly Manns, Assistant Director of Employment and Training Services. Jay has been employed at Ohio Valley Goodwill since May, 2010 assisting as an instructor in the training program.
Ohio Valley Goodwill congratulates all of the 2012 SWORA Award honorees as well as those in attendance for their important contributions to the rehabilitation field.
