Ohio Valley Goodwill was delighted to be a Gold Sponsor for this year’s “Dancing for our Stars” fundraiser which took place on Saturday, November 17th. The 2nd annual event was held at Receptions in Fairfield and welcomed a sold-out crowd in support of the Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities. This year’s Dance raised almost $24,000 and was enjoyed by all in attendance. Nine celebrity couples performed their carefully rehearsed dances for the enthusiastic guests who applauded and cheered throughout the evening. Moderated by Local 12’s media personality, Bob Herzog, this year’s event was a fantastic success. Winning couple, Scott Osterfeld and Tina Wildey were thrilled to be presented with the hand-made and coveted Mirror Ball trophy and Judge’s Choice winners Anne Miller and Jonathon McDowell were also elated to be selected. Entertainer Jake Ryan was also a highlight of the evening as he performed his Michael Jackson inpersonation. Other entertainers included the Westside Ballroom Dancers who wowed the audience with their skilled performances. For the second year in a row, Ohio Valley Goodwill was honored to be a Gold Sponsor for the Dancing event which raises funds for the Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities and the individuals they support. Goodwill works in partnership with the Board to provide work training, social and recreational support and job placement services to several hundred individuals served by the Board.
