There are many ways in which you can donate to Goodwill. You can choose to support our mission through your generous donations of gently used clothing, household items, a car or even a computer or you can choose to donate financially. Whether you choose to take your donations to Goodwill, donate on-line or have them picked up by our local hauling partners, we appreciate your thoughtfulness.
Thank you so much for your generous donation to Ohio Valley Goodwill. Your donation makes it possible for Goodwill to provide skill training and employment services for people with disabilities and our nation’s veterans.
Please read this important notice regarding vehicle donation to Goodwill.
When you donate to Goodwill at an Attended Donation Center or at a store you will be provided with a receipt for your tax-deductible contribution. We suggest making an itemized list if you plan to claim a tax benefit. Goodwill will also provide a Fair Market Value sheet that you can use as a guide to determine the value of the items. The assessment of donation value for tax purposes is the responsibility of the donor. Questions regarding a tax benefit should be directed to a tax professional, the IRS website, or by calling 1-800-829-1040.
Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries is a non-profit 501 ©3 organization, incorporated in both Ohio and Kentucky.
LARGE APPLIANCES

Thank you for your furniture donations. Please note that we are unable to accept the following items:
INFANT/CHILDREN ITEMS
HAZARDOUS WASTE/CHEMICALS
CONSTRUCTION/BUILDING SUPPLIES
AUTOMOTIVE
OTHERS
There are some items that are large, awkward, or unsafe to have donated at Attended Donation Centers. If possible, we ask that these items be donated at a Goodwill store during store hours.
Goodwill appreciates all donations; however, at times we may not accept an item due to its condition, or more often, due to EPA regulations that require special handling and processing. Costs associated with disposing of severely damaged items or items which require special handling to meet EPA regulations, i.e. removing freon from refrigerators, can be substantial and reduce financial support for our service programs.
*Due to the high cost of disposal, we no longer accept tube style televisions and CRT computer monitors. We will gladly accept your donations of working flat screen televisions and flat screen computer monitors. A few places that may take your old televisions and computer monitors include Best Buy, Cleanlites Recycling, STS and Cobalt.
