Donating medical equipment to Ohio Valley Goodwill provides local residents access to essential equipment at an extremely low cost while keeping these reusable items out of local landfills. It’s good for the environment and your community!

HOW TO DONATE YOUR MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
1. View the List of Medical Equipment We Accept
Give your unneeded medical equipment a new life by donating it to Goodwill! Items should be in clean, usable condition for safe distribution.
Most-Needed Medical Equipment:
- Standard and Bariatric Wheelchairs
- Knee Scooters
- Post-operative Polar Care Ice Therapy Machines
We Also Accept:
- Crutches
- Walkers
- Shower Chairs
- Shower Benches
- Toilet Raisers
- Canes
- Blood Sugar and Blood Pressure Monitors
- Bedside Commodes
- Seated Walkers
- Non-motorized Scooters
2. Donate Your Medical Equipment at a Donation Center
Medical equipment donations can be made at any Ohio Valley Goodwill donation center. Find a donation center near you!
Depending on the item, some medical equipment donations are sold in our retail stores to support Goodwill’s mission, just like any other donation. Others are sent to our Medical Equipment Loaner Program to provide access to essential medical equipment for a refundable $5 flat fee. To receive your refund, simply return the equipment, along with the original receipt, to the same store where it was borrowed.
Please note: We do not modify, fix, clean or alter donated items prior to sale or distribution.
